Chillie Boot Media (“Chillie Boot Media”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a Johannesburg-based creative agency providing brand strategy, website design and development, social media management, AI automation, SEO, and marketing strategy services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information in accordance with South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act, 4 of 2013 (“POPIA”).
This policy applies to visitors of chilliebootmedia.com, our clients, and — where relevant to the services we deliver — individuals whose information is processed as part of a client’s marketing or lead-generation campaign.
For information collected directly through this website (e.g. our contact form), Chillie Boot Media is the Responsible Party under POPIA — we determine why and how that information is processed.
For campaigns we run on behalf of clients (for example, social media lead-generation advertising), our clients are typically the Responsible Party for leads generated through their campaigns, and Chillie Boot Media acts as an Operator, processing that information strictly on the client’s instruction and for the purpose of delivering the agreed service.
